Orpington Woodcarving Club

Also known as the Woodentops. We are a friendly group of local people who enjoy wood carving.

We meet on the first Saturday of every month between 9am and 1pm at St John’s Church, Lynwood Grove, Orpington BR6 0BG (quite near the station – good parking on-site). You may be pleased to know that mid-morning cakes and coffee are also provided!

For those new to this absorbing hobby, we offer a helping hand, some instruction, tools and equipment to borrow, and a huge range of experience from current members to help you enjoy this fascinating craft.

In the past we have visited a factory making carving equipment, demonstrated at a number of fairs and shows and carved a huge variety of items!

Why not come along one Saturday morning and see what we do? Even if you don’t want to necessarily take up carving, but would like to see what we do, you will be made very welcome.

If you would like more information about the Club, do contact us.

The next meeting is Saturday 4th May. Tea and coffee will be provided.
